ACADEMIC RESOURCES AT STANFORD

Undergraduate Advising and Research (UAR)
The UAR is a wonderful resource for everyone, and there are specialized pre-med advisors. It is highly recommended that you contact them for help planning your classes, choosing medical schools to apply to, or for any other questions you may have.

Center for Teaching and Learning
Need help with those premed classes? Preparing your next oral presentation? Managing your time? The Center for Teaching and Learning provides free academic and oral communication tutoring for Stanford students. Academic skills workshops and coaches are also available to assist in time management, effective note-taking, and test preparation.

Career Development Center
From career advising to professional development workshops, the CDC provides students with useful resources for exploring opportunities beyond the Stanford Campus. Also hosts the Reference File Service for housing letters of recommendation for graduate school applications and employment.

Haas Center for Public Service
The Haas Center provides students with resources for volunteer work and public service, both in the U.S. and internationally. Opportunities for service advising, workshops, and fellowships are also available.
